PIOTR DOMALEWSKI

Director, screenwriter, actor. He has made several student and short films, awarded at festivals in Poland and abroad. His film Obcy won the Grand Prix at the CINEMAFORUM international festival. In addition, he is the author of several plays and film scripts. He has been awarded a scholarship by the Polish Film Institute.  

 

PIOTR SOBOCIŃSKI JR

Born in 1983, Piotr Sobociński jr is a third-generation cinematographer, the son of Piotr Soboczyński and grandson of Witold Soboczyński. A graduate of the Cinematography Department of the Lodz Film School, he is one of Poland’s most distinctive cinematographers. He has been working on feature films and commercials since 2007 and has won numerous awards, including some of the most prestigious in Poland, such as an Eagle conferred by the Polish Film Academy and a Polish Society of Cinematographers’ Award for the cinematography for Gods and an Eagle and Best Cinematography award for Wolyn, also known as Hatred. He is a member of the Polish Society of Cinematographers.
